How the kitchen operates

Before you book

All activities must align with Cultivating Community’s values and ethical framework. A security bond is required for all bookings, and terms and conditions will be provided upon enquiry. Induction is required prior to use of the space.

Bookings

Pricing Plans & Bookings

The kitchen is available 8:00am–8:00pm daily. Availability is shown in the calendar below, with a minimum two-week notice required. For short-notice bookings, please contact us directly.

Need multiple hire dates? Use the Recurring Appointments option to add your preferred schedule. If your dates don’t follow a regular pattern, simply select any repeat option to continue, you will be able to manually edit and customise the individual dates on the next screen.

All bookings are subject to review and approval. Once confirmed, a payment link for hire and bond will be provided.

Resident Hire

Only available to Bangs St Community Housing Residents

  • Minimum Booking: 2 hours (includes set/pack up time)
  • Eligibility: Only available to Bangs St Community Housing Residents

$40 p/hour

+gst

General Hire

Not-for profits, individuals, small-medium business

  • Minimum Booking: 4 hours (includes set/pack up time)
  • Eligibility: Must be aged 18+

$50 p/hour

+gst

Corporate Hire

Large businesses or corporate functions

  • Minimum Booking: 4 hours (includes set/pack up time)
  • Eligibility: Must be aged 18+

$80 p/hour

+gst

All hires include:

  • 4 sinks + 2 handwashing stations
  • 4 induction stoves (+ 4 portable) & 4 ovens
  • 1 Unox CombiOven & 1 commercial dishwasher
  • Compost, recycling & waste bins
  • 12 lockable individual lockers & toilet
  • 10 stainless steel benches with wheels & 36 stools
  • Small utensils & equipment such as baking trays, mixing bowls, pots & pans, serving ware etc.
 
We are able to offer 2 fridges for use and storage during booking periods but cannot offer interim storage outside of your booking time.

Correa Kitchen is available for hire by not-for-profits, community groups, businesses and individuals whose activities align with Cultivating Community’s values and ethical framework.

Submit your preferred date and time through the booking system. All bookings are reviewed by our team before being approved. Once confirmed, you will receive a payment link for the hire fee and security bond.

The kitchen is available daily from 8:00am to 8:00pm, with a minimum two-week notice required. All hirers must complete an onsite induction and follow our guidelines to ensure the space remains safe, inclusive and well maintained.
