Employment Impact

Our Impact

Creating pathways to meaningful work

Our employment pathways programs support people to build confidence, gain practical skills and access meaningful work. Through paid, hands-on learning experiences, participants develop the capability and belief needed to take the next step into employment.

We work alongside individuals facing barriers to employment, including limited work experience, language challenges, disability and social isolation. These barriers can make it difficult to access opportunities and participate fully in the workforce.

Creating supported, real-world pathways into work is essential to building confidence, independence and long-term economic participation.

Our approach is grounded in an “earn and learn” model, where participants gain hands-on experience in real working environments. Through horticulture and culinary programs, they develop practical skills, confidence and job readiness in inclusive, community-led settings that prioritise wellbeing and long-term success.

Confidence, purpose and belonging

Employment is about more than income. Our programs help people build confidence, develop a sense of purpose and feel connected to their community. Participants leave with practical skills, real experience and the belief that they can succeed in the workplace and beyond.

Aligned with Global Goals

Our work contributes to a range of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, supporting more equitable, inclusive and sustainable communities.
